My work as an artist has moved through various creative stages; from completing an art degree to working on cityscape collages, glass sculptures, and paintings, to my role as an art workshop teacher. For the past 10 years, I have been exploring handmade ceramics & porcelain.

My process
My ceramic vessels are created by rolling clay slabs which I impress with interesting relief patterns. The pieces are then biscuit fired and hand-decorated using underglazes. Each piece is dipped in a clear glaze, fired, and then topped with gold and another metallic lustre, before a third firing. Everything that I make is truly one of a kind.
My bespoke jewellery pieces are hand-decorated with under stains before being dipped in a clear glaze and high-fired for strength and translucency. I hand-paint illustrations on my vessels to tell a unique story. My jewellery and decorations range from seasonal gifts, inspiring people like Frida Kahlo, and Vivienne Westwood brooches, to the delights of nature and animal companions!
When firing my work, I use an eco top-loader kiln that uses less energy for more sustainable art alongside solar-powered electricity.
